News Update:
Meet Our Newest Staff
In January of this year,
Pastor Jon Turk joined our staff as our Project Field Coordinator, taking the
project on the road to share the vision of this ministry with our pastors,
churches and lay-people. Jon is no stranger to PROJECT: Steps to Christ. During
the mid-90's, while pastoring in the New York Conference, Jon led two of his
churches in very successful mailing campaigns, one leading to the establishment
of a new congregation. While serving in the Dakota Conference, Jon served as
treasurer for our board of directors. Jon currently resides in Ooltewah, TN with
his wife and two children.
Project
Friend and Supporter Launches "The Great Controversy Project"
In 2003, God gave Jack Henderson, business man and retired
pastor, a vision for reaching every home in his community of Hendersonville, NC
with The Great Controversy. Jack saw that vision fulfilled in part when
he was able to provide leadership to his local church in sponsoring a Saturation
Mailing of On The Edge of Time to every home in Hendersonville. But Jack
wasn't satisfied. He kept after PROJECT: Steps to Christ for over three years to
help him mail out the complete Great Controversy, which was his passion.
His persistence paid off. In 2007, PROJECT: Steps to Christ was able to mail the
complete 1884 edition of The Great Controversy to, not only every home in
Hendersonville, but all 50,000+ homes in Henderson county!
Jack was still not satisfied. His love for souls compelled him to
move forward with a vision to reach every home in America with The Great
Controversy. In 2008, Jack launched "The Great Controversy Project" and has
since reached over a million homes. To learn more, visit
