PROJECT: NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH
11,000 Adventist Families
Reaching Five Million Homes
with the Gospel of Jesus Christ

THE CHALLENGE
-
Your neighbors are rarely
home and neither are you.
-
Many homes are inaccessible
and you’re afraid to try.
-
Your neighbors are unfriendly
and your visits unwelcome.
-
You’re a missionary at heart,
but you can’t get out like
you
used to.
GOD’S
SOLUTION
“Cease not your efforts, but
study and plan until you find some other means of reaching them.
If you do not succeed by personal visits, try sending them the
silent messenger of truth…. our publications often gain
admittance where the living messenger cannot.”
Evangelism,
p. 411
YOU & YOUR FAMILY
PROJECT: Neighborhood Watch is a
soul-winning initiative that will reach
five million homes in the neighborhoods of
11,000
Adventist families, with a specially prepared mailing of Steps
to Christ. You and your family are
invited to participate in this exciting project that will bring
the gospel to the very homes of your closest neighbors.
MAILBOX
MISSIONARIES
Every one of your neighbors has a
mailbox; and every day, six days a
week, over 300 days a year, mail carriers deliver messages of
relative little value to their homes. Why not the message of
salvation? PROJECT: Neighborhood Watch provides a way for you to
send the life-changing message of the gospel to ALL your
neighbors via the mass mailing of Steps to Christ and the many
free offers it contains.
WHO IS
MY NEIGHBOR?
Depending on where you live, you
may have many or a few. The US Postal Service has grouped your
closest neighbors together with you to make up what is called a
postal carrier route. The goal of PROJECT: Neighborhood Watch is
to help you reach everyone on your route, placing a “silent
messenger of truth” in every home.
MATTHEW
24:14
PROJECT: Neighborhood Watch gives
your closest neighbors an opportunity to hear and receive “the
gospel of the kingdom,” in fulfillment of the Great Commission.
How will they respond? You desire all your neighbors to be
saved, but you don’t know “which will prosper, either this or
that.” And yet ALL must hear. Mailing a “Steps to Christ” to
every home assures that not one of your neighbors is left out.
Then God, “who gives the increase,” makes Himself responsible
for the results.
THE
HARVEST IS WAITING
Finally,
PROJECT: Neighborhood Watch will help you sow the gospel seed
NOW in preparation for the promised harvest. As a sower of
“precious seed,” you “shall doubtless come again with rejoicing,
bringing [your] sheaves with [you].” Psalm 126:6
